Designing a Life with photos.

Sometimes eating burritos.

Welcome to the archive of a photo organizational project I was part of a few years ago, Stacy Julian’s Photo Freedom. Stacy is a phenomenal teacher, mentor and friend and I was honored that she invited me not once, but twice, to be a coach for Photo Freedom. I loved every minute of it.

Photo Freedom is completely the brainchild of Stacy Julian and her class can be found on her website. Much of the content that I created for the class is located inside Stacy’s website, however, ideas and practices that I personally created and live by outside the class are archived here.

Hello. I’m Blayne.

Photos are my life. As co-owner of a professional art and photography studio with my husband, I literally depend on photos for my livelihood. Even though I am not the photographer, I love taking photos with my iPhone, organizing them, and using them in various home decor projects: photo books, wall collage, furniture - the possibilities are endless. Think of it as styling your memories. It’s even more satisfying than a rainbow colored bookshelf!

As much as I love organizing my photos, I also love finding faster and more efficient ways to deal with the hundreds of thousands of images that pass through my life and I’d love to share those ways with you. It’s my plan to leave a smartly organized collection of memories for my family and children, full of stories and details that would otherwise be forgotten.

Join me on a journey to wrap up all your photos, videos, and memories in one yummy place.

I’m Coaching Again!

I’m excited to Join Stacy Julian this year as she launches an ALL⭐️NEW and updated iteration of Photo Freedom. This long-awaited 12-week workshop will introduce you to Stacy’s liberating philosophy and the nuts and bolts of her Library of Memories system—which thousands of memory enthusiasts (Including me!) have used and adapted for more than a dozen years —Photo Freedom will be the result of you implementing the workflow and solutions that Stacy teaches. You will finally be able to confidently do something with some of your photos and enjoy the process. Unfortunately class registration is closed, but you can follow along with my organization projects on Instagram.
